Waste to Wonder Park, the newest addition to Delhi’s attractions, showcases replicas of the seven wonders of the world made from industrial and other waste materials. Located near Nizammudin Metro Station, the park was inaugurated at Rajiv Gandhi Smriti Van.
The idea for Waste to Wonder Park was inspired by Kota’s Seven Wonders Park, which gained attention after being featured in the Bollywood movie “Badrinath ki Dulhania.” This unique park attracts joggers and walkers alike. The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has utilized wind and solar energy to illuminate the park, creating a breathtaking sight during sunset and at night.
A visit to Waste to Wonder Park is a must to witness how scrap materials can be transformed into stunning sculptures. Plans are underway to introduce a ‘light & sound’ show, and the SDMC is considering allowing pre-wedding and film shoots at the park.
