This town is also known as the Headquarters of the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army and houses the Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum. Ranikhet is famous for its stunning views of the Nanda Devi Peak, trekking routes, challenging mountain climbs, golf courses, orchards, and temples.
