10 KM from city Pelling

On a little hill, southeast of Pemayangtse Monastery in Pelling, Sikkim, you’ll find the old ruins of the Old Rabdentse Palace. 🏰 Rabdentse used to be Sikkim’s second capital until 1814 AD. 🗓️ Sadly, the palace and monastery are all crumbled now. 😔 But don’t worry, the Archaeological Survey of India is fixing them up! 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ History buffs should definitely check out this place. 👀 You can see the whole valley below and the amazing Kanchenjunga peak from the Rabdentse Ruins. 🏞️ It’s a view you won’t want to miss! 🌄
