Prashar Lake is a beautiful and clear water body situated approximately 50 kilometers north of Mandi. It features a unique three-storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. Located at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level, the lake is known for its deep blue waters and holds a revered position among locals. Surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kullu Valley, the lake offers stunning views of the fast-flowing Beas River below. Interestingly, the lake contains a floating island, and its actual depth remains unclear.

During the winter months, the lake freezes over, creating a mesmerizing sight. However, it remains enchanting throughout the rest of the year.
