Navi Mumbai, northeast of Mumbai, was built in 1971 as a satellite township. Even though it didn’t serve its original purpose, it’s now becoming a popular place to live because it’s cheaper than Mumbai. Navi Mumbai is getting better with more facilities and tourist spots. It has cultural places like the tallest flag in India, Utsav Chowk with Greek and Roman influences, and Kharghar Hills for nature lovers. There are temples like ISKCON and Nerul Balaji, parks, and other fun things to do. So, not visiting Navi Mumbai while in Mumbai would be a big miss.
