Mussoorie

Mussoorie is a famous hill station about 290 kilometers away from Delhi, in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun district. It’s often called the “Queen of The Hills” because it’s surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas and overlooks the doon valley. Mussoorie sits pretty high up, at about 7000 feet above sea level, giving it a cool and pleasant climate all year round. Back in the day, it used to be the summer capital for the British.

You can still see the British influence in Mussoorie, especially in the old-style hotels and churches. One of the main attractions here is The Mall, which is like a fancy street with lots of shops and places to eat. The buildings and even the lamp posts give off a colonial feel, adding to the charm of the place.
