Mahuli is a hill fort in Maharashtra, found in Thane district. It rises about 2700 feet from the ground and consists of 2-3 hills. Many of the fort walls are still there, and you can see the remains of an old guesthouse. There are water tanks on the way up and cisterns of water at the top. At the summit, there’s a small Shiva temple and caves nearby. The forests around the fort are a sanctuary, and Mahuli fort is now a protected monument.
