Keylong is situated along the banks of River Bhaga in the Lahaul and Spiti district. It serves as the administrative center for the district and hosts many government offices. Keylong’s breathtaking beauty, with snow-capped mountains, winding valleys, and ancient Buddhist monasteries, led Rudyard Kipling to describe it as “surely the Gods live here, this is no place for men.”
