Located in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, the Kaigal Falls is situated within the enchanting Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary. Named after the surrounding village, Kaigal, this waterfall is locally referred to as Dumukurallu, a Telugu term evoking the sound of falling stones.
Perennial in nature, the Kaigal Falls is characterized by three cascading segments, with water gracefully descending from a height of about 40 feet. Creating small pools at its base, the waterfall adds to the scenic allure of the surrounding landscape.
