Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a Sikh temple in Delhi that’s also a popular tourist spot. It was built to honor Guru Har Krishan, the eighth Sikh guru, who visited in 1664. Sikh General Sardar Bhagel Singh built this grand shrine in 1783, overseeing the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi during Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II’s reign.
The Gurudwara is open 24 hours a day, reflecting the open-hearted nature of Sikhs. It’s a peaceful place visited by over a thousand people daily, offering solace to all who come.
