Dholavira, renowned as a significant excavation site from the Indus Valley Civilization, thrived as one of the most advanced cities approximately 4500 years ago. It flourished as a prominent Harappan settlement between 2650 and 1450 BCE.

Today, Dholavira stands as an archaeological site located in Khadirbet, Kutch, Gujarat, also known locally as Kotada Timba. The site not only showcases remarkable architectural remnants but also provides insights into the daily life of the Harappan civilization. With its layout divided into three main architectural zones, the town also boasted a vast open stadium, reflecting its sophisticated urban planning and infrastructure.
