The National Zoological Park, also called Chidiya Ghar, opened in 1959 near The Old Fort in Delhi. It’s a popular spot for both adults and children on weekends. The zoo is well-kept and attracts many tourists. Inside, there are canteens for food, and you can also rent battery-operated vehicles at affordable prices if you get tired. But the best way to enjoy the zoo is by walking around on foot. Visit to see all kinds of animals, from big cats to tiny birds. Originally called Delhi Zoo, it was renamed The National Zoological Park in 1982 with the aim of making it the best zoo in the country.
