Chhatarpur Temple in South Delhi is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani and was founded by Baba Sant Nagpal Ji in 1974. It’s the second largest temple in India after Akshardham Temple. Known for its intricate lattice work, the temple features a blend of South and North Indian architecture. Besides the main deity, it houses smaller chambers with idols of various gods. The highlight is the opulent ‘Shayya Kaksh’ where the goddess rests, featuring silver furniture.
