The Charkha Museum in Delhi, inaugurated in 2017, showcases India’s rich heritage of spinning wheels. Located in Connaught Place opposite the Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, it is managed by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation. The museum features a giant model of the Indian Charkha, promoting self-reliance. Weighing 5 tonnes and weatherproof, it stands atop the underground Palika Bazaar.
