The Birla Mandir, also known as the Laxminarayan Temple, is a temple in Connaught Place, New Delhi. It was built by the Birla family in the early 1900s. Spread over 7.5 acres, the temple has shrines, fountains, gardens, sculptures, and carvings.
The main deities worshipped here are Lord Narayan and Goddess Laxmi. There are also shrines for Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Hanuman, and other Gods. The temple is famous for celebrating Diwali and Janmashtami, attracting tourists from all over the world. It’s one of Delhi’s most well-known religious sites.
