The Ajgaivinath Temple in Sultanganj is a renowned Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. 🕉️ The main idol is believed to be self-manifested. Legend has it that the idol emerged in Muni Jahnu’s ashram. 🏞️ During meditation, Jahnu was disturbed by the Ganges’ ripples, leading him to swallow the river. Muni Bhagirath later intervened, saving the Ganges by creating a passage through Jahnu’s thighs, earning the river the name Jahnavi. 🌊🙏
