The Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is a shrine in Delhi dedicated to the famous Muslim Sufi Saint Nizamuddin Chisti. Built in 1526, the dargah is made of red stone and white marble. It promotes the Sufi tradition, which values spirituality and sees all religions as equal.
People of all religions can visit the dargah to pay their respects to the saint’s grave. Thousands of people visit every week. The dargah also contains the tombs of other important figures, including Mughal princess Jahan Ara Begum and musician Inayat Khan. The tomb of poet Amir Khusro, who was a disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin, is also located within the complex.
